The State Institution “Center for Cultural Education” is an institution responsible for the methodological coordination of the education system in the fields of culture and the arts, improving the quality of education, and facilitating the introduction of modern educational approaches.
The Center was established pursuant to Decree No. DP-114 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 27, 2023, and carries out important tasks, including providing continuous methodological support to educational institutions in the fields of culture and the arts, improving their educational and methodological provision, and introducing innovative teaching technologies into the educational process.
The main areas of the Center’s activities include improving the quality of education, developing the professional capacity of teaching staff, methodologically coordinating the activities of educational institutions, introducing advanced international experience, identifying and supporting talented young people, as well as organizing scientific, methodological, and practical research aimed at the development of education in the fields of culture and the arts.
In addition, the Center contributes to improving the system for monitoring the quality of education in the fields of culture and the arts at the levels of general secondary, supplementary, professional, and higher education; improving curricula and methodological resources; and developing the systems for the training, retraining, and professional development of teaching staff.
The goal of the Center is to develop a modern and effective education system in the fields of culture and the arts based on advanced international experience, as well as to create the necessary methodological and organizational conditions for the training of highly qualified teaching and creative professionals.
